Clay! Well this was the funnest project of my sophomore year. At first I didnt know what to make until my friend gave me the idea of the "A." We took the clay and rolled it into strands and attached them to each other. I can't remember what this is called however. I am really proud of these becaue it was the first time I had ever worked with clay.

When this was made we were learning about Bob Ross. I have always loved his work and how he painted and talked whiel he did so. The whole week while working on these projects we watched his videos and got more ideas. This is paint, I'm not to fond of paint. This however is a lot better than some of my other paintings. There are rocks around the tree that in my eyes look the best out of all the painting. This was the last piece of art I did my sophomore year and it took the longest to complete. With this being paint I am really proud of it.
Watercolor as well, with ink calligraphy. The writting is a part of one of my favorite songs, "Weightless" by All Time Low. When I made this the song fit perfectly with my life in a way. The teacher told us to find a quote that could be from anything so I chose something from music because music is what makes me the most happy. The guy was modeled after my best friend at the time becasue he helped me through everything. So I think that the quote and the person match very well. This was also created my sophomore year.
This is a water-color of a sunset by an island. This was one of the easier watercolors that I have done because it really didnt matter if the colors ran together or if the lines werent perfect. I'm proud of this one because it came out exactly how I wanted it to. This was made in my sophomore year.
This is my favorite piece that i have created. It is on scratch-board. Which I love. I was worried about how this was going to turn out but once it was finished all that went away. For this project I picked a picture that I had looked at a million times before and decided that I would try it for my first scratch-board piece. This was created in October/November of 2011 (ish). I am super proud of this. :)
This is my idea of "Becoming Me." This shows that through all the hard times in the past (the black at the bottom left) there is a place of happiness (white on top right.) To me this is a piece of my life in drawing form...with me being the biggest dark line. I tried to make the lines represent people or obstacles in my life. The darker being the more important of them. I go through everything knowing and remembering the past but always looking forward to the future. I dont remember the date for this one either.
